You'd think they'd be cheaper at Wally World. About the same price as most other options from tire rack etc.

So give us a sit rep on their performance.
Noise?
Traction issues?
Rain?
Snow?
Mud?
Rocks?
No fair saying they work for you without any details.
I've been looking for something different (other than BFG KO AT, NITTO etc). Nothing wrong with the popular tires - obviously they work and work well. Just trying to see what else is out there.

Noise: Not very loud at all. I don't even notice it with the radio on a normal level.

Traction issues: I can't even spin the tires on dry pavement.

Rain: Done great in the rain with speeds up to 70 mph on the interstate.

Snow: I am waiting for it to fall agian.

Mud: Has worked great for me. They clean themselves out very well.

Rocks: Have not tested here.

Over all they are great for an aggresive every day tire that provides that extra comfort when going off the road. It wouldn't be fair for me to say that they are the greatest off road tire out there, they are the first ones that I have put on my truck.

So a few weeks ago I was at the 4wheel parts Jeep and truck fest in Ontario California. At the Goodyear booth I spoke to a sales guy who told me he was the rep that had the Walmart account. He told me that Walmart had approached them and asked for a club label tire that was quote more aggressive. The answer was to take existing M/T tire and make it an A/T the siping was the key. Either way I am still on the fence but one other thing to consider is the road hazard coverage. You can get it fixed or replaced per the road hazard coverage at any one of the 2,600 Walmarts nation wide that is is a hard deal to beat.

It'd be nice if two things happened.
First - updated review(s) of the tire. I know it's summer but so no snow to try out BUT to keep informed on tread wear, noise, rain slicked roads and of course off road info would be nice.
Second - they need to add more sizes.
Keep the tire update/review(s) coming. I'll need new tires this fall and have been looking at all sorts of tires. I'm hoping for a miracle and that I can find an AT that doesn't make a lot of noise. I like the Hercules Terra Tracs (Revo type) but I'm still snooping around.

How about a follow up on these tires? Interested in hearing more about them. Have seen them in person and they look good. Have been looking for a more aggressive AT tire. Have owned several sets of ATs over the years 2 sets of BFG ATs and 2 sets of different Pirelli ATs (AT and ATR).

Looking for something that will clean out a bit better than the ATs, but with sipes and better road manners than a typical MT tire.

Pulled the trigger on a set for the Grand Cherokee, price is right and with their road hazard you can get them fixed or replaced darn near anywhere.

Size: LT245/75/17

Road noise is about what you would expect but not all that bad.

They seem to handle well on road, not really as stiff as I was expecting for an LT tire, with no issues so far.

Off Road, we took the Grand out for some snow wheeling and they handled very well, hit lots of mud also and they just walked right through both.

As for wear, we'll have to see.

Had them on the WK for about a month now,

Walk right through snow and mud, gripped very well while climbing some small rock ledges. Still getting used to the road noise as I've never had this aggressive a tire before.

Can't comment on wear yet, but so far so good.

They look kind of like the Toyo MT's in the basic shape of the tread eh...

Glad to hear they're working out well for the guy's that have them, but my BFG AT's were 160 a tire after rebate last year and I'd gladly pay 200/Tire just to make a statement and NOT SUPPORT horrible company's like Wally World. Sorry if that doesn't jibe with others views, but IMO they are just plain terrible.

Of course that has NOTHING to do with how the tires perform and if you're happy with them, more power to you. I can certainly understand stretching a dollart these days. Hopefully the long term rating of these tires will be a positive one. They certainly LOOK like they'd work well and sound like that is the case from your review so far.

Cheers

Dave

I have been running BFG A/Ts on my TJ for years now and love them, just wanted something with a little more bite for the Grand and these fit the bill, and my wallet. Only time will tell on wear.

Anymore updates on these tires? I've read somewhere that they tend to lose air for some unknown reason, anyone having this issue?
