Man, I appreciate the offer, but...if $400 for the base plate was too much for me, you know the whole thing for $3k is impossible. GLWS!!

Any idea if I can squeeze the base plate into a JLU with the subwoofer?

I don't think it will. Goose Gear sells all separate parts for the subwoofer models.
