the old one blew the torque converter and it was going to cost some money to get a replacement tranny so I saved up from 2 months ago and my mom matched it and we bought this one:victory:

the cool thing is it comes with the u-joint rear propshaft Swweett:coffeedrink: I have so many spares it's not even funny. the build up will start very soon haha

I guess this can become a build thread

I did some tinkering and removed the front bumper to get it ready for the steel bumper and painted my axle cover blue to match the truck

You best be giving Keith a call... that skinny steering stuff makes her look like a body builder with toothpicks for legs!:bike_rider:

Btw... Keith built me the steering stuff for the 109.:smiley_drive:

In theory, how hard is it to sleeve those in steel and place a weld on the link? Isn't that what keith does? And about those HD tie rods that make a U shape to keep em high up, what do you do when you need to get the truck aligned and tinker with the adjustment? does it then become a low tie end rod?

I ask because I am about to cross that bridge.

thanks.

BTW: Not to hi-jack..it's a clean truck man. Keep it that way.:sombrero:

No worries, I am sure J-man won't mind the off-topic. (If he does, I'll buy him a beer when he turns 21...:coffeedrink:). The ends of the rods are built to be adjustable so the "U-shape" rod stays in place. Keith is on the forum here quite a bit so PM him or email him. Good guy.
