I haven't even placed a bid yet, and doubt I will. from past auctions in El Paso I have seen these trailers go for $700-$1000. the price jumped pretty quick with only half a day into the auction. I bet this one will be in the $900 range when the bidding stops.

I wish I could figure out something to do with these Shelters! They look like they would make a great platform to start with. I'm sure you could make them into a trailer somehow. I wonder what the insides look like?

They are located in Minnesota about 2 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul. You get two of them per bid! Too bad I don't have any space at my house. That and the Wife would kill me! :wings:

Those look to be the ones that were for the 5/4 GM trucks. They will fit in a long bed truck I think with the gate up. . That would make the small part of the base 4ft x just shy of 8ft. Get a stouth 4x8 trailer and instant expotrailer. Some of those are fiberglass and some aluminum. I saw a picture of the plaque for them and I think they are around 500lb.

Watching you from a ridge. In Alaska. I'm cold.
I've dealt with GL way too much in the past - the one tip I can give to start is inspect - inspect - inspect. Don't assume that the photo you see in the auction is actually the item listed. Don't expect the item to have all the parts, even if it's described as complete, etc. If you can't inspect the lot, and verify it - then you're really gambling on something.

I'm not even going to go into the whole "I inspected it, won the auction, now who stole parts off of it?" deal....yeah. I've dealt with GL.
