So I have an old Garmin 60C, the model without external storage capability. For each trip, I have to ration the internal 50mb memory and load map regions for where I'm going. I love everything about this GPS besides wanting more storage, and sometimes hoping the screen was larger.
The 60Csx is a natural option. My question is - is the processor faster in this model? Meaning will I be able to pan a map quicker than my old 60C? If I leave the map detail a bit high, panning/redrawing of the map on the 60C can be a bit slow.
Sometimes I really like the ability to see more details on a map without the need to zoom in, hence a touchpanel GPS is also desired. Can anyone recommend such a model that will work well with free topo maps.
I'm still torn on which type to get..
