GPS data logger options

I'd like to start adding GPS data to my digital photos, but I dont have a camera that has built in GPS. So, I want to get a GPS data logger that will merge with the photos back on my computer. I'd like to be able to just sync the clocks on the camera and logger and have it merge pretty easily. I use Mac at home so if there's any software involved it needs to run on Mac. Looking for something nice and small so it can be easily carried.

Any suggestions?

Any of the handheld GPS's will work fine. There are all kinds of scripts that will merge the GPS data into the EXIF fields afterward.

while i do have a handheld, i'd really like to have something the size of a keychain for times that i'm not carrying a handheld gps. good info for reference though, thanks!
