Hard to believe the Frontier beat the Tacoma & tundra, but I'll take it!

I just bought my 2016 P4X a month ago, but chose it over the Tacoma based on simplicity and reliability. This is a nice bonus, but I don't see selling the truck any time soon. I can't imagine what rolling computers the next generation of trucks will be.

I can believe this. I was looking for a second vehicle, something reasonably priced, and I considered a used Frontier to compliment my Xterra. Even several years old and with a good deal of miles, the prices were still on up there. I just couldn't justify spending nearly as much as I spent on my Xterra which was barely broke in when I got it for a Frontier that had been around a while.

Now if I had been looking for another nearly new main vehicle, it would have been a good buy.

I remember getting into a debate with the Toyota dealer over this, when I ended up buying my Frontier New. He said the Tacoma depreciated less, and I showed him they were more expensive used, but cost more new, and depreciated more. Glad my math was correct.

I just checked my book valvue and its more then I paid when I bought it 6 months old with 7k miles on it.....I also had a debate with Toyota about depreciation while I was shopping.
