Full-Time RV life in New Orleans Louisiana we explore the French Quarter, get beignets at Cafe Du Monde, round out the night high above Bourbon street. The next morning we are back at it with a guided tour at St. Louis Cemetery, enjoy some alligator on a stick and dip our feet in the Mississippi River.

Full-Time RV life in New Orleans Louisiana we drive south for an airboat tour with Louisiana Tour Company. Seeing many Alligators and getting caught in a thunderstorm. As we return to our Keystone Cougar 5th wheel we find out our Labrador retriever (Blue) destroyed it.

Full-Time RV life in Louisiana we check into our new Rv resort Ponche Plantation in between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. While there we explore the Mississippi River and Oak Alley Plantation. The truck has been getting a lot of DD miles averaging 19MPG without the trailer!!

We were in Florida a couple of weeks ago. Not too hot and we took an airboat ride. 454 Chevy big block with headers. LOUD but a lot of fun. Gators, birds and trees everywhere.

Thats awesome we had such a great time! Heck yeah they are very loud I opted for no ear protection which was probably a bad idea, oh well! We are actually in Florida now, were you just down there for vacation?

We are nearing the end of our time in New Orleans Louisiana. We go into New Orleans for the Garden District and the National World War Museum. Also a quick stop at Cabelas, who doesn't love Cabelas!

Making a push to Florida we stop in Pass Christian Mississippi at a beach front Walmart. ( the best Walmart to date) Staying at another Boondockers Welcome In Fair Hope Alabama, ends up being an amazing experience on the river. Hopefully this information helps next time you are in the area. The truck is an absolute beast when towing!!!

Yeah we were there about a month ago visiting my wife's aunt in the Ormond Beach area. Kennedy Space Center,Daytona 500,airboat ride and a trip to St. Augustine. That was a fascinating fort and history. It was probably 85* and pretty humid coming from San Diego. Fuel was a buck cheaper, roads were better even in some of the dilapidated double wide 'hoods'.? Our rental was a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. After we figured out the big touch screen it was a great running, quiet vehicle.

Sounds like a fun trip, how was the jeep? in the sand? I think its like any area some good some bad. We got the heck out of dodge after our week down there and headed north to New Hampshire to visit family. Should be up there in New England for the next month!

We hit the road, packing up at Fair hope Alabama and headed to Pensacola Florida. Once we arrive at our campsite we go meet with uncle Rex for a tour of the National Naval Aviation Museum.

Enjoying our extended stay in Pensacola, Florida. Melissa's uncle takes us to see the Blue Angels at the National Naval Aviation Museum. Later that evening, he surprises us with a private helicopter tour from Ferguson Airport with Hang Ten Helicopters. Blue Angels are a must see and free!!! The helicopter tour was amazing if you can afford it!

One of my favorite areas. We were also there about a month ago. We stay in the Ormond Beach area at least twice a year with a run up A1A to St. Augustine. Love that city.

High mileage trip with your RV this is what we went through. Escaping summer season in the south we leave Pensacola Florida and take a 1500 mile road trip to New Hampshire. In an attempt to surprise our cousin for her high school graduation, along the way camp at Cabelas, driving through Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia, west Virginia, Pennsylvanian, Connecticut New York and eventually landing in New Hampshire. Hope you enjoy this epic road trip, feel free to subscribe and hit that like button!
