We may it through Berdoo Canyon no problem, little tight but that made it challenging. We looped back around and camped on Means dry lake bed, this photo above was over by Chocolate Thunder one of the hammers trails.
One of our buddies had never been out there before.

Ya its pretty nice i want to revalve the rear, so it doesn't hit bump as much. Larger tires will help also.

Had my buddy at ttmotorsports in simi valley fab me up some bolt on rock sliders. Just cleaned them really well, hit them with self etching primer, and then a spray on bed liner coating. Time will tell how well the bed liner holds up.

I have wanted a flippac for the longest time. Found one on here but it was out in Arizona, luckily we worked it out, and got it delivered. This one is actually made for a 6 foot be so im going to have to do some modification. Its in pretty good shape and the price was great, super excited! Definitely will be nice to have all my gear safe and secure. More to come!

Sweet thread, Jesse! It looks like I did the exact same trip as you and wife this past summer. Heck, we could have crossed paths without even knowing it. :Wow1: I too passed that random, red school house outside Redwood National Forest. I forget the name of it as well, but stopped to take a pictures of the "students" attending school.

Anyways, I started my trip in Colorado, late June, and went north thru Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, then cut over to Spokane, then to Seattle, then drove why 101 from Seattle all the way down to Redwood, making several stops along the way. Oregon is hands down one of the most underrated states in the Union. After Redwood, I came up inland California, thru Eugene, Portland, then up to Mt Ranier. Then I cut back to Golden, where I am currently. I am actually about to have a Carli 2.5in Backwoods installed on my truck next week. Its nice to read from ya that you really like you suspension, along many other members on this board.

I am hoping to get back on the road in the next month or so, heading south towards New Mexico. Then towards San Diego, making several stops along the way in Arizona and SoCal. I'd love to catch up if you are in my area. I'll be in touch when I start heading south. Awesome pictures and clean rig!

Took the truck out this weekend to Anza Borrego state park to do some exploring. The truck worked great with the flippac, definitely needs more valving in the rear shocks though.
