Electronics do come alive when you open a door without a key, what I don't know is if you can start it without the fob. No clue how to test it.

I just visited Regal INEOS in Atlanta. Wanted to see, touch and drive the pickup version. Very impressed across the board. Seemed well put together, solid and drove superbly. Not ready to pull the trigger, but was the first vehicle I can recall checking out that I couldn’t find a “compromise“ on my part. Really liked. Expect one will replace the Jeep Gladiator in the future. Time will tell.

How has the reliability on these been? We are contemplating one for the wife.
I second this question regarding reliability, or more succinctly, long term reliability. Apart from some electrical or software issues early on, all anecdotal research (reviews, forums, reddit, etc) suggests there is actually very little problem to worry about. The vehicle seems to be doing well and I just don't see regular issues of catastrophic failures reported (unless I'm just not looking in the right places).
We are seriously considering a Grenadier. We are in Vancouver, Canada where a dealer and service center exists locally so, regular dealer maintenance between longer trips is easily accessible to us and should mitigate issues. Even the purchase price seems kind of reasonable and doable for us (can't believe I just stated that a $100k CDN price is "reasonable"...but in todays market even a new F150 can be north of $120k...it is what it is).
So, the biggest thing holding us back right now is long term reliability and legacy parts/availability along with maintenance/service availability. In short, the crystal ball question is what is the longer term success outlook of the company?
What do the "early adopters" say that can help us become a "first follower"?

~22,000 miles since purchased February 2025. Mine is a 24.2 model and has been relatively trouble free. There was one time when the AC went crazy, pumping very hot air into the cabin. Turned it off, waited about 10 minutes, started it back up and back to blowing cold and haven't had the problem ever again. That was before the software update.
The only nagging issue people are sorting out is the front driveshaft CV joint at the transfer case. Seems the angle can cause the boot to wear, losing grease and blowing the joint. The internet always seems to magnify issues, so not really sure how widespread the problem is, but seem to happen to trucks on stock suspension as well as those lifted.

I had expectations of the BMW 6 being a trainwreck, as it has been an issue in very specific places, with specific "parts," in ways that I thought would overlap into the Gren. I don't spend my days looking endlessly for chatter, but I haven't seen a thing.
I also can't tell if Gren's service set up works. I'm no longer interested in one, but the same model is unquestionably going to be used for the (still coming?) Slate trucklet. Perhaps Ineos has solved this?

Terrible vehicle.
Granadier belongs to my good friend,
It has 13. 000 miles, he bought it brand new.
Day one infotainment system didn’t work
Week after it was impossible to drive due to steering issues they had to add a stabilizer,
Still no AC.
It turns itself off on uphill positions city driving,
On this last trip it went into total limp mode, zero throttle response,
All the lights on the dash came on, it had to be towed,
This is the second trip this vehicle has ruined and got towed to the dealer.
Calling for technical support you must call to England,
If you ask me it’s not worth trading case of beer for a brand new one of those.
He has been fighting last few months to have it taken back by the factory, it’s a 🍋
My H2 has 240.000. Miles runs like brand new , can you imagine 240.000 miles on that English (( thing ))

To be honest and fair...I have seen gremlins, but this is the first mention of one being so bad. I'd love to know more, or, more importantly, know if this is a whole thing and the Ineos Social Media machine is so good and strong that it overwhelms the bad press.

That being said, when it works it’s a great off roader and super cool looking.,
Unfortunately for a vehicle with such a low mileage it should not have any problems.
