GROUP BUY: Kermit Chair Group Buy - Expedition Portal Logo Optional!

Kermit never responded to my email requesting a group buy and Expedition Portal said

"Per our policies, such a group buy would not be authorized. Group buys can only be offered by Approved Vendors who support the site or by site members who are coordinating a group buy on obscure items that are not readily available. So if an advertiser wants to offer a group buy they can, but a user can not coordinate one on products that can easily be purchased through retail. Or, a member can coordinate a group buy on something like the left rear tail light for an obscure vehicle that may need to to be custom manufactured to minimum quantities."

I would say this group buy is dead.

Well, I finally heard back from Kermit chair, is everyone still on board with a group buy?
Below is the email response I finally received......

Hi Matt-

I wanted to take a moment to reach out in regards to your group buy inquiry! We haven’t forgotten about your email, and appreciate you getting in touch.

Because our fall season is a bit more flexible in terms of inventory, we may now be able to accommodate a larger group order.

If you would get in touch at your earliest convenience with a general idea of the quantities you are interested in purchasing, we can put together a quote and get back to you as soon as I speak with the higher-ups regarding pricing.

We’re here to assist if you have any questions or concerns, so please don’t hesitate to drop a line!

I purchased a standard oak chair, https://www.kermitchair.com/products/store/standard-oak, a few months ago and will be ordering a Wide Oak for a little more room, https://www.kermitchair.com/products/store/wide-oak

I am a 6'-1" and weigh about 185 pounds and would have liked the chair slightly wider due to my wide shoulders, hence moving to a wide. My wife is 5'-6" and 125 pounds and loved the chair so it is hers now. They are made very well and the chair seemed very comfortable, I just wanted a little extra width.
