I have been wanting to put a high top on my E-350 for quite some time now! Fiberine has been giving me the runaround and their prices are through the roof with the "vandemic". I have been speaking with a company in BC, Canada called Tufport. They have a good looking high-top that comes out to be about half the price of Fiberine. The basic model is $3800 + shipping and tax. I am waiting on the final quote (how much for wood reinforcement on the top and sides) but I think it will easily come in at $4500 USD or less!
You can see the tops here:
Tufport said they need to be able to ship the top to somewhere with a loading dock and a forklift. My wife's family has a commercial fruit processing plant right off of the 99 freeway about 40 miles east of Stockton, CA. I am going to get my top shipped there. I got a quote from Tufport and the shipping is $1000. They said that additional tops could be added to the order for no additional shipping cost because they simply stack the tops on top of one another.
If anyone else is looking for a DIY high-top we could order multiple tops and split the shipping. I think all of the tops would need to be EB ford tops so that they could be stacked on top of one another. I would like to put the order in by June 18th so if anybody is interested in a top PM me. Tufport says it takes them about 4-6 weeks to make the tops and ship them out.
