Do you think you will get $ 750 of use out of it. Thats a couple nights in a hotel room.

That's about what I paid for my camper before cleaning it up and putting a little work and little $ into it. Iv'e been offered alot more for it now.
When I got it, it had some cosmetic stuff, issues with the lift mecanism, and it was filthy as it had been used as a kids backyard playhouse.

I had also looked for a while before I found mine and I have definantly gotten my $ worth out of it and have had lots of memorable trips in it.

If it's within your budget and is what your looking for, Go for it. You can always sell it later.

If you think you would use it, I say go for it. I have been looking for one that size for a while too! That price seems good to me.... compared to what I have seen.

Check the roof structure too. That vintage of Hallmark had a center latch on the roof, and the roof seems to be broken at that location many times. I often see them driving down the road and the center of the roof is pulled way up from airflow... It looks from the pictures like the one you're looking at may be rather soft in that area.

I replaced the jack mount plywood on one side of mine, and double plated both sides. Much improved, and pretty straightforward. If the roof is in good shape, it's probably worth your time to fix it back up. If the roof is wasted, i might look elsewhere.

Campers are pretty simple, and even the older ones are just wood, glue, and screws. (Well, and lots of staples...)

Good Luck!
