Hi guys i came across a hallmark 86 popup truck camper. The guy want 1200 but it needs work .I offered him 700 .They are hard to come by around here for small trucks like a ranger , he had it on tacoma and i measured it would fit .It has good canvas on outside and just needs one spot to fix sewing on window. It needs paint and cauling and wood on bottom fixed. It has heat, sink, and table.the guy said the po washed inside with a chemical to clean it and it has some black marks doesnt look like mildew.I am looking for one to rebuild and make my own and hopfully have for a long time. And the canvas seems like it was made for winder time, like insulation between it.What do you think about price. And does anyone make replacement canvas for these campers so i could get a newone someday? It doesnt smell at all and no water inside after 3 days straight from rain. Thanks for all your help. If anyone has a pic that would be great.

I've got a '93 Hallmark, it has awning like fabric on the outside, rip-stop nylon on the inside and a thin layer of foam between. Hallmark will re-do the canvas and/or the top for you, but it ain't cheap. You can get the new fiberglass top and insulated fabric though. Price wise, it depends on how solid it is, mine was $2000 this spring, and I think it was a fairly good deal, except that I had to drive nearly 300 miles to pick it up, then drive back. If it's much good at all it's probably worth nearly a grand, but if the wood is rotted out probably less....good luck.

There is no rotten wood just bottom pooping out a little on one side,The camper top is in good shape .I was just thinking down the road .Im a carpenter so the wood work and interior mods dont scare me.Just wondering about canvas. Do you have pics of your camper and canvas and did you have to drop yours off or would they send me one i live far from them in mass, and was wondering what you paid for your canvas. Thanks

camperback.jpgmy canvas is original, my info on new comes from contact with hallmark in Colorado. You can visit www.hallmarkrv.com and get first hand info. It's a relatively small company, and has been responsive and helpful to me with my old camper.

I was wondering if anyone elese has a hallmark around 86. The length is 74l x76 wide and cab overhang is 29 in. Also the bed seems small has anyone ever added to bed by folding over a piece to make wider and adding say cleats to side .Im still thinking about it the guy said 900 instead of 1200 but i want to pay 700 as i said it needs some work and real updates. It only hooks up to shore power not of battery .I would think you could have run them of truck at one time .Thanks for all help Scott
