Amateur radio license prep class is Saturday at ERAU
A one-day class to prepare interested people for the Technician level amateur radio license will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), 3700 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, in room 103 of the Aerospace Experimentation and Fabrication Building (AXFAB, building 75).
There will be a half hour lunch break at about noon. Students should bring a sack lunch or a buffet style lunch is available at the ERAU cafeteria for about $8.
Pre-registration is requested for the license course by contacting Jack Crabtree at jscra@cableone.net, or 771-2344.
Testing for all levels of FCC amateur radio license will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the Jeep Posse Bldg., in Pioneer Park. For more information or to pre-register for tests, email testing@w7yrc.org.
