Hammock INSIDE the truck?

There are a ton of (good) threads on hammocks. However, I was thinking that it would be possible to hang one INSIDE the truck?

I have an 80s Suburban, so I have more room than some folks, but has anyone tried it?

If you can find something to strap it to, why not?
The other thing I would be worried about, is how much vertical space do you have?

Yeah, I was thinking about vertical space as well. I think I have plenty, but I suppose the lower it "sags" the more arched your back is while sleeping?

I'm not sure you'll get the ideal angles to hang, but you can give it a try.

If I can do it in a 2dr Jeep, I am confident you can do it in a Suburban. You will just need to drill some holes in the trim, put some nutserts in, and add a pair of eye bolts to hang from.

I was just thinking about this last weekend. However, it'd be a pretty small hammock inside my two-door Suzuki Sidekick. :p

I have used a hammock in my Nissan NV (tall van) but the only way to get the angles for comfy sleeping is to go from D/S back corner to P/S front "A" pillar.
