Hand crank camper Jack recommendations

I need to remove and modify my flip-pac for a bit. The camper weighs about 300lbs. When I was modifying my camper I had the use of my buddy's forklift which was nice, but now I don't have that option. I recently ordered some CR Brophy cable camper jacks(74") from JC whitney but after they should up to the house the poles were missing. Upon talking to the customer service I found out that they no longer supply the 74" poles. Why did they sell them to me? I have no idea, and I could not get a reasonable answer. Anywho, I would love some alternatives if any one has any ideas. Oh and it would be nice to keep the cost under $300

Got a garage you can back into? If so ratchet straps off eye bolts in the ceiling joists. I even pulled the truck bed off my truck last week like that:

I tried to order from JCW also, the description was not very clear and I ended up being sent two sets of two 74" poles but not the rest of the jack. At that time (JCW stock seems to come and go) they listed the shorter pole jacks which I ordered but they cancelled the order because they didn't have them in stock. These jacks are hard to find and I ended up ordering a 3000# set with the shorter poles from a different supplier and used one set of the 74" poles from JCW for those jacks. It sounds like dealing with FRP some. After I bought them I found an almost new set on Craigslist for $100, oh well.

If you have a small truck the shorter poles should work fine. I needed the long poles because my truck rails are almost 60" off the ground.
The jack base was too close to my truck wheels so I welded up some extensions that work great. For some reason I replaced the steel cable with stainless cable, I must have been thinking of leaving the camper on them outside. I really like the Brophy jacks and despite the many concerns I have read about stability I think they are very stable and easy to use. If anyone is interested in seeing how I did the jack extensions I could take a photo of them.

I am interested in seeing the Jack extension for sure Homemade.
JCW actually pulled the 74" jack combo off the site now.
Before I actually need a camper jack I was seeing a pair or so pop up on CL once a month or so.

As of now the bottom or the flippac rails are at aroun 52" and in a few weeks they will be up 4" more I would go with the shorter jack stands.

Cable jacks suck! I had some on my first camper and changed to hydraulic jacks - hydraulic jacks suck! I highly recommend mechanical jacks:

The brophy jacks lower to within about 15 inches of the ground which is nice. Now I remember why I changed out the cable, the stock cables didn't lower enough with the 74" pole so I added longer (stainless) cable.

Keep in mind the load is only ~300# for the cap on jacks made to hold 3000# so that is probably why they seem sturdy to me but not to someone who has loaded a camper. I wouldn't want to overload the extensions because they act as a lever and multiply the force on the part of the jack that they are bolted to. Just something that works well for me.

I was looking at those rieco's actually this morning. Almost bought some but I wanted to save the cash for some other modifications. They are super nice but I did one last search on CL and found some crank camper jacks for $75 and grabbed them at lunch. I think because the flip-pac is only around 300lbs the stability will be fine along with some saw horses. If I had a heavier camper and was storing it on them I would definitely get the reico's.

Just dropped the jacks off at buddy's shop to weld on some extensions.
