Hannibal Double Jerry Can Holder

Scepter Plastic Cans and Hannibal Racks.

Anyone running these who has modded the racks to fit?

Yeah those are the racks I have but in black. The Scepter cans are plastic and they won't fit in the hannibal racks since they are a bit different and too large. The handle config for the cross bar is off and the top piece that holds the cans from squishing out the sides is not wide enough to hold them in place. They plastic cans also tend to bulge with any kind of heat.

I have two 20L and two 10L green fuel cans, plus two 20L and two 10L brown water jugs if anyone is interested. I'll buy the ones from AB or EE if they still have some that will fit my racks. Can anyone confirm that these cans will the racks in the pic above like the racks I have?

yeah that doesn't surprise me. plastic cans deform and really arent the same shape as a nato can.

i'm 99% sure that any NATO spec can will fit that rack, that is what they were designed for. Contact Dan Randle at hannibal safari and he will confirm it. he is on this board.

Apparently they are Nato spec but they definitely don't fit the rack.

Yes, the Wedcos fit into these exact double jerry can holders. Also bought my holders around the 2004 time.
