Hard to find five Michelin XZL's (or five XML's) in 9.00R16...

... where are people finding these tires?

Or, alternatively, another 9.00R16 tire that would work well in an environment that is primarily hard-packed dirt roads.

Albeit you are not in the US, but here they are pretty much unobtainable. From time to time someone brings a few dozen in but they disapear very quickly.

You may want to explore the BFG KM2 in 255/85/16, they are similar in size to the 9x16. I run'm on two trucks, and one of the trucks is in central america and is on gravel roads 80% of the time. The KM2s are great on gravel, not too noisy, and are much more readily available than XZLs worldwide.

Funny you mention the KM2 in 255/85R16; it's what I'm running currently. It performs well, but I prefer the Michelins for a bunch of reasons.

I am actually ordering them to be sent to the US, if you're interested.

See my post in fireside chat.
