this is a horror story I havent heard to this extent in the overland world since ive been researching and building rigs circa 2019. I was well on my way to purchasing a unit from them around july this last year and by happenstance decided i was going a different direction with my main vehicle and bailed on the project.
After all the phone calls, the prototype videos, the walkthroughs of their space to produce, and seeing all the team humming along building I was really hopeful these guys would be getting big publicity and making a banger of a product...I am in complete disbelief of their flop. I truly did not see it coming.
Perhaps some people just should not be around machinery. I would still love to see a competitor to the Hiatus hard sided camper available from the northwest (bellingham, WA) but at this time I am choosing to invest into a Bruin Camper from Oru designs for their cost and modularity
Its wild that we all see these creations on the internet and at the shows not realizing just how much actual time effort and material goes into making them. With the explosion of brands on the scene over the last several years its definitely made me feel like I could whip something up if I had the time and space to; I can see how others would feel like they could too.
No excuses for this kind of bad business. shame on them for treating the community members this way.
