Has anyone done a HID headlight coversion?

My Brother just bought an HID headlight conversion kit (9007) for his '07 Frontier. Everything seems straight forward except for one blue connector with two spade ends. We need to pick someone's brain.

Haven't done that... Yet.

But it's real easy to start a jumper test to see what glows and what doesn't.

Yeah we got that part, it's just that when it's all plugged in, "No Headlights". Perhaps he bought a defective unit. We'll try again today with more daylight on our side.

Got it figured out. It came with a relay that wasn't allowing the current to flow. I think that it was designed for DRL's. I just made a jumper wire to bypass it. Since they draw less than 35W the factory fuses and relay should be fine. Am I correct, or am I going to burn my brothers Nissan to the ground?

If you burn it to the ground, we want video of it. Doesn't sound like you'll do any damage at all.
