I have a HS2000 Propex heater leftover from another project and would like to install it inside my TJ Unlimited, has anyone been down that road before?
I was thinking I could drill another couple of drain holes in the drivers side rear passenger footwell to run the combustion intake and exhaust hoses through when using the heater, then plug them with a couple of extra factory rubber plugs when not using the heater.
I plan on building a sleeping platform inside the Jeep and wouldn't mind a bit of heat. I think the Propex heater would be safer than a Little Buddy style to use in an enclosed area and also should not produce as much condensation.
Any thoughts on my plan?
