Tank carrier setup. Ran the fuel lines today, should have the tank and fill lines in tomorrow.

It’s been a minute but the rig is road worthy.

Added starting stabilizer up front.
Added SumoSprings all around with custom spacers.
Rerun the repair heater hooked up to the main tank.

I have a small fuel leak from the fuel bowl that I’ll have to fix. Probably the orings on the drain.

Next up is ordering the front drive shaft.

A kit with new O Rings was about $7 for the best ones when I did mine. I’d install a new filter and a Monster Glow Plug relay while you’re at it also.

That’s were I’ll order them from for sure. Shouldn’t be too bad of a job, at least in theory.

I watched a 7.3 PSD YouTube video where the shop owner said that’s how he tests new diesel mechanics. If they can pull the fuel bowl and put it back in without loosing it… they are hired.

I felt good when I heard that. I’ve done it, it was an ugly job. Mostly just time consuming, awkward, and ugly. If you take your time and keep at it, it’s very doable. Just don’t think it will be done in half an hour.

Time consuming, awkward, and ugly is a’ok. I’ll get it done.

These came with the chrome F250 wheels I bought. I’m not a huge fan, so going to replace them with the newer style caps. Anyone want these? Free pick up in Los Angeles.

Two trips down. Overall it drives ok. Not quite as smooth as it was before, but not terrible. It has a bit of bump steer but larger tires are likely the cause.
