heated blankets

any one using one while camping? i thought it would be great for the roof top tent but im looking for something with a low draw on the battery. costco has some small ones i looked at but no mention of how much power they use.

any suggestions?

Low battery draw = low heat production.

It isn't hard to find sleeping bags that are good to 20F or lower.

There are several guys using them here, both with and without dual battery systems. The trend is to put them on max to warm the bed then turn it down to minimum to idle through the night.

That's what I do. Turn it on high for an hour to preheat the sleeping bag/pad/comforter/whatever then I turn it down after climbing in.
