Helinox high cot

Would you mind posting up some dimensions for me. I need the measurements down the side where the legs attach to the frame...so how far from the head is each leg. Also how wide is the leg footprint (one leg foot to the other)? How tall are the legs?

I am looking for a cot that will straddle my folded seats in a SUV for a quick deploy sleeping setup. Also figure I can trim the legs to get it level if needed.

Thanks in advance.

For this use are you referring specifically to the Cot One?

I have two of these, and they're great! Military and first responders should do a google search for discounted sporting goods. You'll probably come up with a good source for lots of great gear at an amazing price. I don't think I'm supposed to mention the particular website here, but you can PM me for the info.

The advantage of a tall cot in addition to it being easier to get in and out of, with a tall cot you can store gear underneath it, When my wife used a cot and I used an air mattress we had much more room in our tent to store stuff, now that we are both on megamats, we have lost a lot of floor space in our tent. As for the chairs being easy to get out of for old people, me and my wife are both 55 and love our helinox chairs, we have no issues getting in and out.

What am I missing here? I see no usefulness whatsoever for this insulation thing. For the same price you can get a great insulated mattress to put on the top, literally doubling the comfort of the cot. REI Campbed 3.5, Exped Synmat 3-D 7, and many others.

Add this insulation to the Cot Max Convertible and you now have a $680 cot:

I see where they are going but yeah I would rather put a high quality pad on top for more comfort ?

If you want a chair that's easy to get out of, get a Kijaro Dual Lock. They have an XXL version too.
