Hello from Canada

I've been using an 07 4x4 Pathfinder as a family camping and utility work truck for about the last year, which continues to give excellent service with no down time or problems so far.

Mostly I post on the http://www.thenissanpath.com/index.php forum as it's almost exclusively dedicated to 05+ PF's, but I see some excellent information on this board about a few offroad and trekking mods I'd like to do on the truck in the future, so will be posting a few questions.

Cheers from Canada

Welcome Greybrick. When I saw your subject line I though we had another Nissan Safari member joining. So, where are the pics of your :safari-rig: ?

Thanks, I'm from the Calgary area.

I'll put up a photo later but really there isn't much to see. Think soccer moms generic looking 05+ Pathfinder with some of the junk stripped off, no mud flaps, no side steps, no power seats or sun roof in the S model, and definitely the roof rack is history; if doesn't fit inside the truck then it doesn't get to go. :)

You Cow Towners keep your eyes out for a SWB Safari. It'll soon have a 3" OME Comp lift put in it.

Hmm, just saw a high roof the other day north of the city. How the hell do you guys get used to driving from the right side? :)

Its no problem. You are only shifting the driving position by about 2.5'-3'. The pedals are all the same. The wiper/signals are reversed ( probably the hardest thing to get use to) and you shift with your right hand. I thought the shifting would be hard but again it was no problem.

Isn't that what reverse is for? :smiley_drive:

Yeah, I'll try that next time I cross the border and let you know how it goes.:26_7_2:

I just realized that the driving smiley is a RHD.

:smileeek: Great find. There are advantages of RHDs at drive thrus also when it comes to nice young ladies at the window who are well endowed.
