Help 1990 Fuso fg turbo intercooler.

Hey any thoughts? I just broke down engine just died and won’t restart. Trucks got 48000miles, Was driving fine, started a little rough this morning went off drove less than a mile after letting it warm up a couple mins and it died and won’t restart unless I jam down on the accelerator. Truck is a 1990 fuso fg. Turbo and intercooler. Has been driving fine literally we were taking off today on a long trip. Any thoughts? Literally waiting on a tow truck at the moment can’t even lift the cab cause I am parked in a turn lane.

Check your fuel filter. There’s a drain on the bottom. Drain out the water. That’s my first go to if I’m running rough

My water separator was full of water it’s empty now. Started up when I primed it but now it will run and drive for a mile and then shut down again.

Yeah sorry for the Late response on here. Been dealing with trying to get some seats that don’t kill out backs hahah. Ended up being a loose water separator that was sucking in air! Thanks to this forum and the other I was able to figure it all out. Had a little panic moment sitting stalled out in the turn lane for an hour, until I got the courage to pop the cab up in the road and prime the system again. Was able to limp it back to a parking lot and sort it.
