HELP! Air inlet valves for water storage?

I am working on my water storage design. I am ordering custom tanks for a pump system. I need a one-way valve that will not allow water to spill out, but will allow air in. With out this, I can't pump water out.

For some stupid reason, I cannot find a simple one-way air valve online. Am I going crazy? I have searched every term I can come up with. I do not know why this is so hard.

Please help.

Perhaps, Air Admittance Valve. Mostly for home plumbing but maybe you can find something to suit your needs with that search criteria.

Try searching for the term "check valve", might be more what you're looking for.

Do you even need a valve? Just use a length of tubing and run it 1' or so above the top of the tank.

This, if you can swing it. And top it off with a mini air filter, to keep dust/bugs/etc. out.

Otherwise, a check valve will work just fine. Just be sure and follow the directions, some will not work horizontally.
