Help! Gen 2.5 won't crank

Before someone tells me to search, I have. Every time it comes up with zero results. Ran to the scrap yard yesterday and when I went to leave my truck simply wouldn't turn over. Got towed home, and checked things out. Battery was full and the truck turns over when I connect a jumper wire from the battery to the solenoid. I'm thinking neutral safety switch?

I'd lean towards ignition switch (opposite end of your key). I replaced it in my '88, '92 & '93. Pretty common. Same symptoms.

Got it running again, it was the neutral safety switch. Man, what a pain in the @$$! $212 for the part after going through a few places only to find out for gen 2.5 always say it's a '97 because the part listed for my '98 is a completely different nss for jeeps

On a side note, it's plugged into my truck in the neutral position just to get it to run, got it zip tied in place. I'm gonna have to take apart my exhaust just to have enough room to get the old one out and the new one in :/
