Help Help with Scenic Maps West

I am trying to import a GPX file into my Scenic Map West Ap on an IPAD 2 mini.

I emailed the file to myself, then opened it on my IPAD.
According to the online manual when I open the file it will have a special icon that will import when I open tracks, or something like that. When I open the file, I get a message: "Sorry, we currently do not support this attachment type: OCTET-STREAM.

So how do I move the GPX file from e-mail to Scenic Maps

WOW! I just did it by loading the GPX files from my PC to the IPOD program on the PC, then opening the IPAD as a device on the IPOD program, then syncing it to the IPAD. It was a bit clumsy. although this is my first time, but I am amazed. When I recopied the same files as tracks (also GPX files) it put the names onto the file that it didn't do when I transferred the waypoints as waypoints. In about 10 minutes I moved 60 GPX files. Scenic Map has the tracks and the waypoints and this is awesome.

Is there anyone in the Pasadena, CA area that is actively using Scenic Maps or Scenic Maps West? I could use some tutoring. This just beats the heck out of the other GPS programs I have been struggling with.

I'm in the San Diego area and like you am discovering the inner workings of the program. That being said I feel is one of the best out there. I'm also using a Dual 150 dongle to improve accuracy
