Help identify my Montero

Need a little help here folks. My Montero originally came from Puerto Rico and, although its titled as a 98, the body more closely resembles the domestic US 97 model - slab sided rather than blisters. I recently broke the fixed window in the rear driver's side door and neither my insurance company or the local glass shops can seem to figure out what part number needs to be ordered as a replacement. Its a base model, with few if any options, but has been a great second vehicle for family beach trips/camping and just tripped 200K with no problems. The mechanical differences i.e. 3.0L engine haven't been a problem but the VIN translation for the body is causing the glass folks problems.

Pic below and thanks in advance for any info that will help get the right part ordered

If you notice at the top of the first screenshot I specifically chose PR/Guam. That might be the issue with your glass place, as it appears the 1998 in those two locations is actually a 1997 (mostly) compared to US market.

Let me know if there are any other part numbers you need.

Glass dimensions should be the same as any Gen 2 or 2.5. US spec Gen 2 trucks have brown tint, while 97-2000 have gray tint. I don't know what color tint the PR trucks came with, just make sure whatever they order and install, matches the color of glass that you already have.

Also, looks like EyeintheSky gave you the part number for the rear movable door glass Part #68110L, not the fixed door glass. Going off Eye's diagram, you'd need Part #68120L for the fixed driver side glass.

Thanks jlocster. I'm likely to have a problem with the tint in any case as the original owner had an aftermarket job done..... a really good job but not OE. Good catch on the part numbers. EyeInTheSky cleared that up for me with PMs.

Swank Force One - I'm partial to this look as well Other than hood and roof clear coat issues, she cleans up pretty good and has always been rock solid mechanically.
