Kia makes military vehicles including copies of 2 1/2 ton 6x6 trucks, the M715 1 1/4 ton pickup (M715) and its own KM42 series of light vehicles:

A girl at my old office had a Kia Sorento. It was actually a pretty awesome ride. I liked it. For forest roads and the occasional tiny obstacle, it would be perfect. A great on road vehicle that you could take up a rough forest road.
Shares the platform with the Hyundai Santa Fe, which is pretty much bullet proof. And on that note, the Hyundai Santa Fe is a great vehicle as well.
That is all I got. Overall I am decently impressed with Hyundai cars. I know many people with the Hyundai Elantra which is by far the best small 4 door car on the market. I wasn't impressed with the Veloster, but then again I test drove the normally aspirated engine version. I'm sure with the turbo its a bit more lively.

too bad you don't have Suzuki auto dealers in South Korea, other wise Suzuki Jimny are the best choice for off roading.
