Help me find a trailer for a family of 5...

My head is spinning with all the different brands, formats, (mind blowing) prices, etc. of smaller trailers. Basically I'm looking to upgrade our family of 5 from tent camping to something that's faster to setup/takedown since a limiter to our adventures is getting all the "stuff" together, setting and breaking camp, and then invariably having to disassemble camp in the rain.

We still want to "camp" vs. rolling a traditional TT, at least for now.

If it matters I'm pulling with a 2022 F-150 with gobs of towing capacity but somewhat lame payload (1400lbs). I'm southeast based so fire roads, etc., vs. running the rubicon... I'm leaning towards the "overland" stuff so it's going to fall apart in 18 weeks but would trade rugged build/OR capability for functionality/price.

Used budget is ideally $25K.

Must haves, loosely in order of priority:
  • Sleeping for 5. I'm thinking a queen or similar interior, and a RTT for the 3 kids, probably hard sided so it's quick and easy to put up/down
  • Fits in the garage. I've got about ~92" of clearance (8' opening minus trim). If something was awesome I can pay for storage close to home, but I think that limits the "camp on a whim" factor
  • Decent kitchen. We like to cook so at least propane onboard + chest reefer and ideally a sink w/ hot water + better than generic stove
  • Roof rack for RTT, awning, maybe some SUP at some point
  • Onboard water w/ sink/outdoor shower
  • Relatively easy to work on electronics, etc. I'd like to add/customize solar, inverter, lights, etc. since I enjoy that kind of stuff
  • Ideally a relatively common model so I can find one used
My short-ish list at this point is:
  1. BRX Overland since they're kind of local
  2. Boreas XT
  3. TeardropsNW Ranger/Commander (don't know much about these guys)
  4. InTech Pursuit (easy to find but kinda lame kitchen)
  5. RKS Purpose (ridiculously amazing but brand new and way over budget but I can dream)
  6. Trailer Marker Up and Out (similar to 5)
  7. Xpedition Voyager (super cool but impossible to google used since all I get are old minivans)
Any other options or thoughts on the above?

So even if you got lucky and found the following used they would likely be over 25k:

Boreas
BRX
RKS
Expedition Voyager
Trail Marker

If you up your budget and go new expect a year build time.

Intech may be the most realistic on your list.

Valiant XTD are cool
Drifter Trailer is near you and seem decent
Vintage in Dothan are near you. Kind of an inexpensive build hence qc issues

More to come

Thanks all... just missed the BRX that was listed recently so I'm back to the drawing board, but hopefully the market is starting to normalize a little bit.

I have a 2021 Offgrid expedition I’d sell you. It’s a demo trailer that never went anywhere. Was built November of 2021. Will sleep 5.

Price is 39k which is way less than a new order. If you’re still interested I’ll send you our shop number and we can discuss everything about it.

I my 16 month obsession to find the best rig for my very specific needs I to wanted a trailer that could fit in my 8" (95" - 96" if i pull one layer of trim). I ended up with the Trailer Marker because I wanted a hard sided stand up and was able to keep the height at 102". So all though not ideal I will pull the wheels off and roll in garage on the beefy wheeled stab jacks.

Check out Outbound Offroad in Raileigh, NC.
Thier website says they rent. Call them as they may have used units to sell. They are a dealer for Mission Overland, Boreas and Vorsheer

I have a brand new & fully loaded Xpedition Voyager in my driveway that's been out one night - the OEM starting price now is 43K without options, tax, or shipping and there's a big wait to get one -- If you were to order mine today it will cost you over 60K. I have the title in hand if anyone makes a serious offer...we may change course.
BTW -- Outbound Offroad in Raileigh, NC is not far from me, I've been there and obviously didn't buy - ehhh.
