Fanboy much?

I am now. Was an Icon fan. But my truck is getting up there in years (10 years and 174k miles) and I don't need extra things to take care of. The Icons lasted about 100k but it took two rebuilds and a replacement for a broken spring in between. At the prices they charge, they should be worry free, not costing me half over again in repairs. I always assumed the heavy OMEs were going to be a rough ride. They are actually not far off from the Icons.
But money aside, it's all about keeping it simple now. We all learn this eventually.

Those look interesting. Are they better than the Kartek ones?

That's interesting about the diff drop since that's exactly what it claims to do. I really don't want to have to keep changing boots and figured that would help but you're right, if it's only a partial drop it won't have much of an impact. It seems like a really simple spacer kit though, why wouldn't they just drop the whole diff?

The Kartek's just go over your stock boot I believe, the ones I linked are direct replacement boots made specifically for lifted applications. They have a strong following on TacomaWorld. I'm running those and they are much better quality than the stock OEM.

The rear of the diff can't be dropped because the crossmember is in the way. There are actual measurements on TundraSolutions of a before/after drop, they're minimal and you will find lots of people over there that will tell you to skip it.
