Help! Portable renewable energy solutions

Hello. My names is Vilandas Zukauskas from University of Derby. I'm currently working on a portable renewable energy solutions. My project aim is to optimises product for specialist needs, meaning the product would allow to deliver electricity for specialised equipment outdoors.. It would be very helpful if you could tell me some of the items that you take and use for your camping, expeditions, or anything related to outdoors research.

A laptop for working during camping trips. That means about 3 hours of power per day.

How about a 12v refrigerator?
While I'm on about the cooking stuff, I sometimes wheel with a crock pot plugged into my inverter. It would be great not to have to unplug it when I stop the truck for a hike!
