Thanks again for extending me the opportunity to come take a look at your Ez-awn. We should keep in touch and hook up some time.
I would be glad to stop by at some time and show you my 4 Runner.
I still have your number from your post.
I'm still working on the trailer, will be going out to get sand blasted in the next few weeks and then I can start working on fabbing a lid for it.
I will keep you guys up to date as it progresses. Doug

You need to shorten your ladder so you get closer to a 15' angle, right now it's sloped out from the tent too far.

Thanks for being so observant.
I was waiting for someone to notice the angle.
I had just got it opened up and was making some fine tuning adjustments while the wife y was snapping some shots. if you notice the tent is not laying completely flat in the pic. Again you guys are being a great help and making sure I go at this thing with all the right info. Doug

I just like to nose around in other peoples business.

I think you'll have a fine set up once you get it squared away.

Cody I just used the Thule load bars and gutter mounts right over the lip of the trailer. It is round and it fit on there just fine. It is just temporary until I get my lid built. At that point I will mount the RTT right on top of the lid and not use the load bars at all. Doug

Nice. I have a full thule rack that has been collecting dust and spiders for the last 8 years. I guess it's time to bust it out and see what I'll need.

Hey Doug is that a shady boy awning you have on your Load Warrior? If not what kind is it and if it is how do you like it? I am considering one of those.

Bryan you are correct, it is a Shady Boy. Measures about 5'x10'
I have had it about a year now and really to be honest with you I have not had a chance to use it yet. When we went to Moab last fall it was really windy most of the days and didn't feel like setting it up. I can tell you though it is going to be nice once we have the trailer done and set up camp for days at a time.
Here's a few pics of it opened up in the driveway, web wheeling at it's best. LOL

Nice set up Doug. Thanks for the pics. I know what you mean about not being able to use things! Since we got out AT Chaser in the end of January we have not been able to use it yet due to weather, work and what not. My neighbors now know me as "the guy who sets his crazy trailer tent thingy up in the driveway every other weekend!!":xxrotflma I'm really interested in getting a Shady Boy. Definitely on the short list of things to get. Where did you buy it and how long does it take to set up?

I ordered it from Country Home Campers from Salim Miro.
http://www.countryhomescampers.com/awning.htm
It take abut 5 min to set and a few more min to break it down.
Here is the email info below when I was ordering it.
Let me know if you need anymore info. Doug

Dear Doug

The base price for an awning is $292.00 +$39.00(S&H). The colors are
Burgundy, Dark Blue, Light Blue and Silver (the silver is a reflective
material to keep you cooler and an additional charge of $12.00 is added
for this color). The extra poles cost $25.00 and the awning will come with
stainless brackets and hardware to install on your camper.

To order please fax us at (509)-472-8666 your Visa or MasterCard number,
