Resurrecting an old thread after finding these couple pictures taken from a van for sale earlier. From the explanation and picture the guy had reinforced around the opening (beside radiator) to keep it structurally sound. It's a bit of a butcher's job but someone might come up with a better way to make it look more eye pleasing... My concern with his design was water ingress but since we hardly ever see any pictures I thought I'd post them.
