If you have unlimited data on the iphone, will all of your websurfing with the computers be free then? I heard that using a phone tethered to a computer would change how your data charges were billed. Just wondering.

Using my iPhone 4 (jailbroke), and MiWi (not MiFi) app, I can tether to my iPad with no additional charges. My data plan was grandfathered in so I have unlimited usage.

It seems as though this varies by plan, carrier and individual so it would be worthwhile to check into it before getting hit with a huge bill for a cross country trip.
