hf camping gear trailer build

My build is winding down and I have questions and need suggestions, guess first I should show where I am at in my build

Hf 1700# trailer, deck cut down to 40" x 6' , welded
Full length spine made with received tube , welded
Box is 40"x30"x6'. 1 1/4" box 14 gauge, skin is 16 gauge steel
Jeep rims, 31" tires
This is around 1-2 weeks work

First question, I welded and sealed a 1" lip inside the door jamb, and added weather strip, look like I have leaks at door tops so guess I need deflectors on trailer above doors, suggestions?

What are you using the M101A2 for?

We have a few military vehicles, though it works great for moving lol

I'd personally try a better gasket for the door, and make sure there is enough pressure against it for the gasket to create a proper seal. Try a latch that pulls the door tight against the body of the trailer?

Think I got it figured, side for gasket lip needed adjusting, rear door was being held off by 2 screw heads with poor placement

Now I nwwe to build the side platforms on either side of the wheels and add wheel wells, again suggestions or links to pics would be great

Looks great! I have the same trailer sitting in my driveway ready for modification. Any advice on the shortening/strengthening? Most I see that modify the shape end up going for an M416 footprint.

The instructions to reduce size are on the tventuring trailer site, bolt then weld all joints after welding I removed any bolts that would be in my way for the box

Yes, actually bought too short so I need to use em with 4x4 under

They are attwood?

Still need to finish up a few things but you get the idea

Looks great. I like how most of the gear is enclosed. What are you using for a coupler? Have you weighed the finished trailer?

Front is also female so coupler is removable

Have a 2 " ball coupler and 3 axis off road hitch I built

I have not weighed it yet or towed
