Hitch Conversion

Any thoughts on converting from a ball hitch to a pintle or a multi-axis set up. Either way I need to modify the trailer (Jumping Jack) but I pull it with my JK in the woods or my pickup other places.

I would think that un-bolting the ball hitch and having a 12" receiver welded to the top or bottom of the existing tongue would be the easiest/best. Lock-n-Roll used have a bolt on solution when they had their old product line, but I think they've narrowed down the mounting options with the new hitch line.
