This is used and has seen many trails on both of my current trucks so it is not all purdy like some would like.

..This comes with the optional light kit installed as well as a 3/4" clevis which can be removed.

It also has two pin holes for allowing the hitchgate to be closer or further away from your bumper.

how much departure angle do you lose with that on the hitch?

It slides into your hitch and is designed from your hitch and goes above it to minimize interference of departure angle..

..I was asked if it rattles and the answer is no...This is as tight as the day I bought it..

..My primary use for this was off road trips and having the option of putting this on whatever vehicle I was driving for these trips...

..I would usually put it on the day before the trip when I was loading up and when I got home it would be removed and put with the rest of the trip stuff..

..On both my truck with a shell and my Explorer, I was able to access thru the rear window with a tire on the carrier and without having to swing the tire out to gain access to the rear of the vehicle..

..I'm not saying this is possible with your vehicle but it might be also..
