hobbyhorsing issue in power wagon

I have 37x12.5r17 D rated Ridge Grapplers on my 2020 F250, and have zero issues handling empty or towing my 4500# trailer at interstate speeds. Empty, I run 40F/35R, towing, around 40F/45R.

I would not consider the tires to be a part of the problem unless there’s issues with the wheels, balance, alignment, etc. I’ve had Toyo MT’s, and two sets of RT’s, on previous vehicles, and I think I’ll have a hard time pulling away from these Ridge Grapplers unless I for some reason feel I absolutely need an load range E tire.

Sway bars will help only with tipping in corners, the left-right tip when you change lanes or swerve around kittens.

I agree. For people who are offroading a lot, shock damping seems like the best way to fix this. Swaybars will limit articulation and won't help with hobby-horsing at all. And I can believe that getting F-rated tires and pumping them to 75psi would stiffen everything up, but the ride would suffer a lot too.

It's good to hear that you like the Ranchos. I'm not opposed to expensive 2.5" coilovers, except the seals don't seem to last long, and since I'll be on the road full time I won't be able to rebuild them. If a Rancho fails I can get a replacement easily.

I ran Load E Toyos (20", 37s), no rear sway bar, and 5100 shocks.......seemed fine on and off road

I later ran some Carli reservoirs and the ride was a tad too stiff
