Home Storage for your Gear

I bought one of the 40' shipping containers back when they were only $2K delivered and set at your place. Strong, secure and lots of storage. As I live in the SW, I installed a swamp cooler and some lights which make it into a real nice storage shed with plenty of room for all the essentials.

Holy crap... Man if you guys saw my garage...it's a Maze of busted recording consoles, airplane parts, a weight bench (sheesh), general electronics, and a weed eater. Organization is not my strong suit. I envy this^^

:sombrero: New Years Resolution--simplify/localize and combime all recovery/tools for off-road

:sombrero: Thanx SWITAWI, I do have some "TASK FORCE" containers to store all recovery/tools/ gear-except batteries/winchs-etc

These localize all the stuff and I breakit down for the cause/reason/length of the trip

Thats an older pic and I've got the "normal stuff" mobile in smaller bags--even though I can carry both "Task Force" boxes, cause they've got wheels and sliding handles-

Task force containers? Where do you get those?

Also, I am looking for good garage storage containers for camping/recovery gear, etc.

They are really mobile with two rear wheels and a sliding handle, kinda like airplane suitcases--really cool storage/moving/mobile containers-

Good luck

I use Proslat in my Garage. The product is made in Canada, and is carried online through Home Depot here in the states. It's a wall panel system made from 90% recycled materials (for those who are Eco-Conscience), and holds 75 lbs. per linear foot. They have hook kits, baskets, shelves, and tire racks that work with the system, and will be releasing a new cabinet line shortly.

I also have a contact with the company, and if you decide to purchase through Home Depot's Website, let me know through PM. In exchange for honest reviews, they will throw in a couple of extra items to your order.

I tend to put everything in the living room, all the camping gear is piled up against the opposite wall. The joys of being a college student living in a tiny one bedroom apartment.
