After seeing all the information on homebuilt wedge campers I thought I would give it a try, I thought we could do better than my version 1 know as 'The Tarper'.
I knew I wanted all aluminum and I got lucky and scored an "L" shaped extrusion at the scrap yard that would work for my idea, I built a 2" angle frame to top the extrusion

The lid was made from 1x2x.120 aluminum with 1x1x.120 wall for the cross bar supports

installed the .080 aluminum with blind rivets and riveted the base together with 3/16 aircraft rivets



at this point I started on the 1x3x.062 wall rectangle steel tubing
