Honesty time, are they worth it?

I have been drooling over the Grenadier ever since it came out. We've done two test drives but never come close to buying, yet they still eat at me. I just can't comfort myself into the unknowns of their long-term reliability and resale. Does the company have staying power here in the States or even as a whole, and will I have a troubled vehicle that can't be relied upon daily?

So for those of you here who actually own one, talk to me about the issues you've had with the vehicle itself and with the dealerships/service/warranty. Are they still odd about aftermarket suspension regarding the warranty? Has the aftermarket caught up with the platform, and would you buy one again if you had it to do all over?

I've been following them closely as well and I think they are so awesome. If you want some real info, go to the ineosgrenadier reddit page. I imagine you'll get significantly more information on there than you would here. I don't think there are too many on here right now for the reasons you pointed out.

You should put Grenadier in your subject line to help with searching. I did a search and it appears people want to sell them as fast as they buy them. I also found this link, in case you didn't see it.

I have similar concerns.

I wish them well but they don't really mesh with me. A quartermaster is too expensive as a toy and not enough "truck" for work.

The local dealer has a half dozen 2024 with about 2K miles for mid $60s- low $70s. You could almost buy a new LC for that....

And be watchful. With that much mikeage, If they used them as courtesy vehicles ,loaners while others were being repaired, they wont sell them as new and needn't include a warranty

The original factory warranty still applies to used vehicles.

I want a quartermaster. I can’t justify one at all but if I were rich and had the size of garage I want there would be one in it.

That’s not how warranties work though. The factory new vehicle warranty is valid until the time or mileage limit is reached no matter how many people have owned it. A two year old Grenadier with 2k miles is still covered by the factory warranty for another three years and 58k miles.

The aforementioned are being sold as used. They probably are demos or something given the low miles. Dealer also has a bunch of new ones for $80-$90K.

Hyundai is infamous for lying about whether a car has been used as demos or courtesy cars and then voiding warrantee
