Hot and Cold Running Water (except for hot)

I removed some of the jerry can mount to clear the spigot on my Front Runner water can. Call me crazy, but I like to splash some water on myself on a hot and dusty trail. This is the ticket.

Thanks for posting this!

That is really cool!
I have not bought a water can yet, and this looks like a great idea.
Would be perfect when filling a pot, or kettle, or whatever, as well as washing up.

Thanks. Yeah, I think this will work great for my application.

Today I got home and the "upgrade" spigot had been delivered. The stock plastic spigot worked fine but was a little stiff to turn. This one is a 1/4 turn ball valve and very functional. Also has garden hose threads on the end for more utility.

Sweet! I'm a huge fan of Teflon backed ball valves. Seems like they last forever with no maintenance.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you order your water can from? And would you recommend the vendor?
Thanks!
