How far is too far on a bike

I eneded up with new front springs and a Pensky rear shock.

Excellent- the Penske triple is a nice shock, and springs and fluid was probably enough for the front.

I owned of for about 10 years and it did no one thing perferct, but it did do everything well.

That sounds like an understatement...

My next bike will be something along the lines of an FJR 1300.

Sounds like a great choice.

I like big fast Sport-Touring motorcycles- my Hayabusa was the only motorcycle I've ever sold, that I regretted selling. It did SO many things, SO well.

My next one has to be able "safely" hold my daughter....so it's gotta be something with a trunk.... Or I'll just build a Subaru powered sand rail...lol.
