How long is too long at the dealer for repair

Not trying to downplay anything, your situation sucks, but if any work required Mitsu parts along the way there would have been lost time waiting for parts to ship in.....keep that in mind. Each project probably had unknown parts requirements, so they wouldn’t order until they got into each thing. My dealer gets parts for me at the same speed they get stuff for themselves. Last thing I ordered didn’t come on time due to a warehouse inventory issue, I lost 4 days right there.

I'd demand a loaner. That's why they have them. If they are 'out' then demand a used car or another new car be added to the loaner fleet to accommodate their service volume.

Just to finish this thread I got the truck back. They gave me about a 30% discount off the total bill however I wasn’t very pleased with their work. It was obvious they raced through it to get it done. New spark plug wires were so dirty they didn’t even look new and they didn’t bother cleaning any of the oil from the leaking gaskets they replaced even though the invoice has a line item “clean engine” Would definitely steer clear of colonial Mitsubishi in Indiana Pennsylvania.
