How many actually use 120VAC when off-grid?

There should be text either on a label on the box that plugs into the wall or molded into the same. It will give the input and output voltage and amperage.

The machine itself doesn’t have any info.

The power supply thing says AC input is 100-240 volts, 1.0-1.5 amps
DC Output is 24 volts, 3.75 amps.

So this won’t work hooked up to my deep cycle battery unless I have a pair wired together for 24 volts.
The adapter is $84, which I can live with.

For example, very common is

DC5521: O.D. 5.5mm, I.D. 2.1mm

Also be careful to check

+/-, tip/ring polarity,

with a DMM if not marked, and match, many devices aren't protected if you reverse.
