The HVAC in the ‘06 is the worst part. It's AWFUL. The auto wipers surprised me by being actually kind of cool. The reason I like the ‘99 better, is the way it drives. It <feels> much lighter, and more planted. Mine has OME suspension, and 33” Cooper ST Maxxs, whereas the ‘06 is on stock AHC and Michelin, so basically the ultimate in capable luxury. They are kind of opposites.
